How Our Teeth Whitening Works

Each whitening kit includes up to three gel applications, which we recommend completing in the same visit for best results.

Once applied, the whitening gel begins working immediately by opening the pores of your teeth and lifting surface stains.

  • First application: Starts the whitening process

  • Second application: Continues lifting discolouration

  • Third application: Targets deeper stains and evens overall tone

Each application takes approximately 15 minutes, plus time to remove and reapply the gel.
Plan for a total appointment time of about 1 hour and 15 minutes when completing all three applications.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

Your visit is simple, guided, and comfortable:

  1. You’ll begin by using a tooth shade guide to compare your natural tooth colour before starting.

  2. A vitamin-rich oil is applied to your lips to keep them hydrated throughout the session.

  3. A cheek retractor is placed to gently hold your mouth open.

  4. You’ll apply a pea-sized amount of whitening gel to each visible tooth and spread it evenly with the applicator brush.

  5. Relax in our massage chair while sitting under the LED light for 15 minutes.

  6. The process may be repeated up to three times for optimal whitening results.
