Part-Time Spa Consultant

Planet Beach Namao | North Edmonton

Planet Beach Namao is currently looking for one part-time Spa Consultants to join our team.

Our spa is a busy, welcoming environment where no two days are the same. This role is a great fit for someone who is organized, enjoys multitasking, and genuinely likes connecting with people while working as part of a supportive team.

What You’ll Do

As a Spa Consultant, you’ll learn how to manage the day-to-day operations of the spa while providing a positive experience for every guest. Responsibilities include:

• Building rapport and relationships with clients

• Learning and confidently explaining Planet Beach services

• Assisting clients with product knowledge and recommendations

• Booking appointments and managing the schedule

• Answering phone calls and responding to client texts

• Giving spa tours and explaining service options

• Making service and membership recommendations based on client goals

• Sanitizing service rooms and maintaining cleanliness standards

• Laundry and general spa upkeep

Training is provided — no previous spa experience required.

Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is:

• Friendly, conversational, and comfortable talking with clients

• Organized with strong time-management skills

• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable and team-oriented

Experience in serving, hospitality, or sales transfers well to this role. Sales experience is an asset, as we offer memberships, but this is not a high-pressure sales environment.

Compensation & Perks

• $16/hour starting wage

• Commission + tips

• Complimentary spa membership, with access to all services at our location

Hours & Availability

We are currently looking for someone available to work daytime shifts, approximately 3–4 shifts per week.

Day Shifts:
• 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekdays are flexible, but consistent availability is required
• Must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week

Weekends:
• Some weekend availability is required
• Not every weekend — schedules are shared fairly among the team

Students:
Post-secondary students are welcome to apply if enrolled in online programs and able to maintain consistent weekday availability. Candidates who require full weeks off during exam periods may not be the right fit for this role.

Additional daytime shifts may be available during the summer for holiday coverage, particularly for team members with more open availability.

Schedules are posted 2-4 weeks in advance, making it easy to plan ahead.
